AMBIVET

Ambivet is a small, independent, mobile veterinary clinic set up by myself (Elaine Wild) to provide a unique, caring and personal veterinary service for your pets in your home. Bringing the consultation room to your home means veterinary care is more convenient for you and less stressful for your pet.

I have been a vet for 15years and have worked in many practices locally. I am now proud to be able to offer a relaxed alternative to the traditional veterinary clinic – perfect for those nervous pets who don’t like the experience of being taken to the vets and for those owners who would prefer a home visit. It means I can provide your furry family members with an outstanding level of continuity of care.

I work with compassion and aim to provide the same treatment to your pets as I would give to my own. As well as being a mum of 2 energetic boys, I am lucky enough to have many pets- Amber and Rainbow the Labradors, and an assortment of others – ranging from the cat to the leopard gecko.

I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your pets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge a home visit fee?

No. The service is a mobile veterinary service and therefore the cost of the visit is the consultation fee. There is no extra fee for coming to see you.

Do you cover your own Out-of-Hours?

I make every effort to see to my own patients outside normal work hours. However as a single vet practice, it is not possible to provide a high quality of care and cover all of the out-of-hours. Emergency cover is always available for my clients outside of normal working hours at Vets Now, who are a dedicated out of hours emergency service based in Spring Lodge in Witham.

How do I register with you?

Please get in touch by phone or email. We will need to contact your previous vets to get your pet’s history.

What are your prices?

What forms of payment do you take?

I can accept cash, card and BACS payments. Unfortunately I do not accept cheques or American Express.

Is there a discount if I have more than one pet?

Yes, please contact me to discuss discounts if you have more than one pet.
